How to create fairy tales?

Innovation and personalization of stories

• A key innovation of Imagine Stories is the freedom to create content, which gives users the space to experiment and create unique stories.
• If you lack inspiration, it is possible to use the random selection option, which allows AI to suggest ideas.
• Select story elements using intuitive icons representing characters, places and themes. These icons inspire imagination and facilitate the selection process.
• For those who want to enter their own elements, there is a „Custom” tab that allows you to personalize every aspect of the story.

Creating fairy tales and stories step by step

STEP 1

Age categories

• The stories are tailored to three main age categories: 4-5 years old, 6-8 years old and 9-12 years old.
• Younger children have access to simple and magical fairy tales, while for older children there is a richer selection with different literary genres.

STEP 2

Choosing of species

• In the section, users will find age-appropriate examples for children to use as a starting point for creating stories.
• For older children, genres such as science fiction, adventure, travel, detective and therapeutic fairy tales are available.

STEP 3

Choosing a hero

Children often identify with their fairy tale or story heroes, so that’s where story creation begins.

You can use the ready-made „Ready Hero” prompts or choose the „Custom Hero” tab and enter the hero of the story manually. In this mode, you can enter one or more heroes. You can also add some important attributes of the character, which will make the character be presented in the story in a certain way, for example, a brave knight, shy Hania, Mr. Tom the doctor.

You can also use the „Random Hero” option, which will make the artificial intelligence (AI) fill in the spot for you.

STEP 4

Site selection

Each story has a place of action. As with heroes, you can choose from a ready-made pool of „Ready-made locations” or enter a „Custom location.” The ready-made options won’t always match a pre-selected hero. However, you can use such surprising pairings to see how the artificial intelligence will tie distant plots together. Why not put a cook in space or a knight in an underwater town? See for yourself.

STEP 5

Choosing the theme

With the protagonist and place of action selected, we need to decide what our story should be about. You can choose „Ready-made theme” from the list of ready-made ideas or, as before, enter „Own theme” of the story, e.g. „Tale of the enchanted ring”. It can also be a mysterious title like the title of a novel: mysterious disappearance, search for the unknown, etc. The limit is only the limits of our imagination.

STEP 6

Choosing styles

Styles are such an „icing on the cake”. Something that will make a fable or story come to life in an interesting way.

Each text is enriched with images created by the artificial intelligence in a pre-selected style (the „Ready Style” option) available on the date of release of this manual. Thus, it can be a picture reminiscent of what children know from cartoons or even a black and white picture that can be used as a coloring book.

You can try your own graphic style („Custom Style” option) and specify in what style you want the image to be generated, for example: sketch, oil painting, 3D graphics, impressionism, surrealism.

Note: not every style that comes to mind will produce an image as expected, but it is worth trying, treating it as a fun and new experience.

It is important to remember that the image is only an accessory. This functionality should be taken with a pinch of salt. Sometimes we will be delighted, sometimes surprised. You can remove the image from the exported Word file or generate it again (option available in selected imaginestories.pl packages).

Special genre: therapeutic fairy tales

• Therapeutic fairy tales are not a panacea for all problems, but they are a valuable educational and educational tool.
• When creating a therapeutic fairy tale, it is important to choose the right content and, if necessary, consult with a therapist to best match the content to the set goals
• For everyday parenting problems, therapeutic fairy tales can help parents and educators illustrate specific life situations and serve as a basis for discussion with children.

Editing and Supervision:

• We recommend that AI-generated texts be carefully checked and possibly edited by adults before being presented to children.
• The user is responsible for supervising the story creation process, avoiding inappropriate content and correcting any errors.
• AI-generated images usually match the content, but in case of discrepancies or results that are not as expected, they can be easily removed or requested to be re-generated within selected subscriptions.
